Mpho Maepa believes in delivering the best quality service to his clients and in order to achieve this, one has to be selective when taking on clients to ensure that the number of client taken on are manageable.  Furthermore, when taking on a client, Mpho ensures that the clients needs is addressed by specialists, his associates, in their various fields.  Mpho and his associates work as a team to ensure that the client benefits from their collective knowledge and expertise. 

Yepas Consultants CC caters for those clients who see value in a relationship with the service provider that goes beyond the rendering of a service for a fee, but who also value the mutual benefit that can come out of a proper working relationship between a service provider and a client.

ABOUT THE OWNER - MPHO MAEPA

MPHO MAEPA - BA (Law) University of Swaziland; LLB (University of Cape Town) Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (University of Pretoria and the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa) - (cum laude)

Mpho completed his BA (Law) degree at the University of Swaziland in 1990, where after he relocated to Cape Town and obtained his LLB degree from the University of Cape Town in 1993. 

Mpho served his articles of Clerkship with leading Cape Town firm, Herold Gie & Broadhead Inc., during 1994.  He remained with Herold Gie & Broadhead Inc. after his admission as an attorney until December 1996.  During his employ with Herold Gie & Broadhead Inc., he practiced in the Labour Law and Constitutional Law departments working mostly with the Cape Town Municipality and other statutory bodies. 

Mpho moved to Nelspruit in January 1997 where he joined the firm Mojapelo & Co and continued to practice Labour and Constitutional Law, as well as general litigation and criminal work, with the firm. 

Mpho joined Ntuli Noble & Spoor Inc. in June 1999 as a professional assistant with special areas of interest being Labour Law, Land Reform and Occupational Health and Safety.  Mpho has been involved in CBO’s and NGO’s in both Swaziland and South Africa and was on the Board of Trustees of the World University Services (SA), an NGO involved in disbursing donor funds in the adult education and training sector.

Mpho is actively involved with Land Reform Law and has worked with communities to secure their tenure and helped establish farming entities on land returned to these communities, amongst others, the securing of tenure of the 6000-hectare Coromandel farm in Lydenburg for the community.

Furthermore, Mpho is an experienced project manager and gained valuable experience during his involvement with the Independent Election Agency, which was responsible for the successful election of the members of Traditional Authority Councils in Mpumalanga.

Mpho is also a member of the Black Lawyers Association. His Community service have involved work as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court in Nelspruit for over seven years and recently as the Chairperson for the South African Football Association (SAFA) Ehlanzeni region Disciplinary Committee.
